Solid, but not perfect August 3, 2010 J. M. Kopecky (Plano, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great crib. Just put it together today and I have to say I was very pleased with the ease of construction. A bit of a bulky item, however I had it assembled (minus the trundle drawer) in less than an hour. Very easy assembly and a cordless drill makes the job go even faster.
Nice fit and finish. One piece had a bit of a messed up cut on the edge, but it was hardly noticeable when assembled. Nothing to make me want to return it.
I love the design. My only comment on the coffee color is that it is not nearly as dark as I had expected. I'd put it more at a "dark walnut" than a coffee color. However I'm still rather pleased with the crib. Read the instructions and it seems that converting to a day bed will be a 10 minute project at most.
Good for the money. May 25, 2010 S. A. Hogarth (KIRKSVILLE, MO, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This crib is great. It was not too expensive. It does not have plugs that can be a choking hazard. Plus it is easy to assemble. However, if you want a crib that will not scratch, do not get this one. It is a soft wood. Even so, I think this is a great value.
Crib Awesome, shipping stinks! May 12, 2010 Brandie D. Ososky 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this crib a week and a half before my mom was supposed to come in town and help me put the babys room together. When I ordered it the shipping said it would be here 5-8 buisness days i didn't get it until 14 days after ordering it. I was highly upset because my mom could not be here and I had to take off work to make sure it didn't get rained on since the day they had to deliver is was rainning. I tried everything I could to get it here when they said it would be but the rude man on the phone with their customer service said there was nothing they could do. YOU COULD not tell people their package will arrive on a certain day and then say sorry its not going to be there for almost another dang week! Crib is beautiful and didnt take long for babys dad to put it together...perfect choice for our family :) Shipping can really stink so just make sure you don't have a time schedule.
DaVinci Parker 4-in01 Crib in Coffee April 13, 2010 A. Burns 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This product came in a difference color than was advertised on the website. I asked for coffee color and it came in a lighter color. I was told since the box said it was coffee then it was coffee. Also the screw holes are in the front of the crib making for a terrible eye sore. I was told that there was nothing that they could about hiding the screw holes. I am generally unsatisfied.
Shipping was a nightmare March 31, 2010 Paul Crowley 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I actually had this crib delivered twice and returned twice... The first time the box had a large rip on its side, almost as if a fork lift decided to go through the middle instead of underneath. The crib had a large scratch across the headboard, and we decided to return it. The customer support was very nice, and sent us a new crib, which upon further inspection also had various scratches due to shipping.
I don't know if it is the shipping company or the factory, but we decided to go with a different crib from a local retailer. The box weights alot, and is a bulky shape...
